Buses in Eastern Tottori

Route 39 leaves from platform 0 for Sakyu Kaikan at the Tottori Sand Dunes. The direct trip takes about 20 minutes.

Use platform 3. Routes 32 and 32H serve the Iwami and Uradome Coast area; route 33 continues toward Iwai Onsen. Check the stop nearest your destination because the routes differ.

For Karo Port and Tottori Karo Kanikkokan, take route 48 from platform 4 and get off at Kanikkokan-mae. Route 49 follows a different side of the loop, so check for route 48.

Routes 70, 77 and 77L leave from platform 7 toward Yazu and Wakasa. The letter suffix shows a route variation, so check the complete number and destination.

Take route 41 or 41H from platform 4 and get off at Hakuto Jinja-mae for Hakuto Shrine and the coast. H indicates a route variation via the hospital.

The Red, Blue and Green loops leave from platform 0 and circulate through central Tottori. The flat fare is ¥100; check the route color as well as the number.

Local routes link Iwami Station with Tajiri, Kugami and Oda. Some Oda Line trips require a telephone booking at least 30 minutes before departure.

Municipal routes connect stations and communities across Yazu. The adult fare is ¥100, and the routes operated on Sundays and holidays differ from weekday and Saturday services.

Fixed routes run from the Wakasa bus terminal toward Ochiori–Yoshikawa and Tsukuyone. The fare is ¥100; check the operating day and connection at Wakasa Station.

Buses leave from platform 1 for Kobe-Sannomiya, Osaka (Umeda) and Namba/OCAT. There is no overnight service departing from Tottori Station. Some trips run only on selected days, so check the booking calendar.

A daytime bus from platform 1 links Tottori Station directly with Himeji Station. Reserve a seat in advance and check the current timetable before travelling.

One reserved daytime round trip runs every day between platform 1 at Tottori Station and Hiroshima Bus Center, via Kurayoshi. Another trip in each direction shown in the official timetable is currently suspended.
